Ajey Nagar (born 12 June 1999), popularly known as CarryMinati, is an Indian YouTuber and streamer from Faridabad, India. who makes videos and roasts people on his YouTube channel since 2014. On his YouTube account CarryMinati, he is well known for his roasting videos, comedy sketches, and responses to numerous internet subjects. CarryisLive, his second channel, is devoted to games and live streams.
His parody video, “YouTube vs TikTok– The End,” which he posted in May 2020, sparked debate on YouTube India. The video was taken down by YouTube for breaking the terms of service of the website, claiming things like cyberbullying and harassment.

Ajey Nagar was born 12 June 1999 in Faridabad, Harayana, India. Except Ajay, his parents and his brothers live in his house. Nagar completed his schooling from Delhi Public School, Faridabad, Haryana. Ajey became really anxious about his Economics exam during his 12th-grade examinations because he wasn’t prepared for it. Therefore, with his parents’ approval, he left school, and a year later, he took his 12th-grade examinations through distance learning.

The headquarters of Ajey Nagar are in Faridabad, which is close to New Delhi, the capital of India. Known as CarryMinati, Nagar specialises in live gaming as well as roasting and comedy videos in the Hindi language, diss songs, and sarcastic parodies. Nagar started uploading videos to YouTube when he was ten years old. Since 2014, his primary YouTube channel has been operational. 2014 saw the launch of the AddictedA1 YouTube channel, where Nagar posted video game replays and commentary on them. He renamed the channel CarryDeol in 2015 and started uploading gameplay videos of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive while imitating Sunny Deol. After that, CarryMinati became the new name of the channel. According to a statement made public by Nagar in May 2021, the channel has more than 30 million members.
Nagar started a second YouTube channel in 2017 called CarryIsLive where he streams himself playing video games live. He has facilitated live broadcasts on this platform to raise money for those affected by the flooding in Assam and Bihar in 2020 and the cyclone Fani in Odisha in 2019.
Nagar was named in the top ten of Time magazine’s annual list of ten young individuals who build creative careers in 2019, the Next Generation Leaders, at position 10 in 2019. He was a member of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list in April 2020.
He made a cameo appearance in the 2022 film Runway 34 dressed as himself.
YouTube vs TikTok–The End
In May 2020, Nagar posted a contentious YouTube video with the provocative title “YouTube Vs TikTok-The End” in reaction to a TikTok user named Amir Siddiqui’s Instagram post in which he criticised YouTube creators for mocking TikTok users. Based on several reports of harassment and cyberbullying, YouTube removed it, citing violations of its terms of service. LGBTQ+ advocates had filed many concerns regarding the video’s harsh homophobic or transphobic content. Several of Nagar’s supporters criticised YouTube for its actions, and his name appeared in a number of new trending hashtags as a result of the removal.
