Pooja Banerjee
Pooja Banerjee (born 8 November 1991) is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi television. She began her television debut as a participant in MTV Roadies and later played Tejal Majumdar in her first lead show, Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum. She first became well-known when she collaborated with Ekta Kapoo on a few brief supporting parts in Chandrakanta, Chandra Nandini and Dil Hi Toh Hai. With her appearances as Nivedita Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Rhea Mehra in Kumkum Bhagya, two of Kapoor’s wildly famous series, Banerjee quickly became well-known and enjoyed greater recognition. She has been portraying the crucial role of Bani Mehra in the three seasons of Kapoor’s web series Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain from 2018.
Personal life
On February 28, 2017, Banerjee wed professional Indian swimmer Sandeep Sejwal. On March 12, 2022, the couple gave birth to a girl they called Sana.

Career
In 2011, Banerjee began her acting career by taking part in season 8 of the MTV Roadies. She appeared in the lead character of Tejal Majumdar in her first fiction show, Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum, which aired on StarPlus in 2012. She was chosen to play Perizaad in the fantasy series The Adventures of Hatim on Life OK in 2013. Banerjee played Rudraani in the Sahara One production Ghar Aaja Pardesi that year.
Banerjee received her first break in the Life OK drama Naagarjuna in 2016 playing Noorie Shastri opposite Pearl V Puri. Pooja was cast in supporting roles in the 2017 films Chandra Nandini, a historical romance, as the antagonist Vishakha, and Chandrakanta, a fantasy drama, as Suryakanta. She then made a comeback to reality TV as a participant in the fourth season of Box Cricket League before being chosen in June 2018 to play Aarohi Verma in the love story Dil Hi Toh Hai.
She later played the same role in season 2, which was directly aired on ALT Balaji. In the fantasy drama Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha, she also made a brief cameo as Sonprabha. In Kasautii Zindagii Kay, which premiered in September 2018 and ran for a successful two years, Banerjee played the fashionable but married Nivedita Basu. The show ended in October 2020. She appeared as Bani Mehra in the online series Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain, from 2018 to 2020 and took part in Nach Baliye season 9 in 2019. She appeared in the web series The Casino in 2020. Banerjee portrayed the daily soap’s grey-haired lead role of Rhea Mehra from July 2020 to February 2022. The Kumkum Bhagya.
