Rashmika Mandanna
Rashmika Mandanna (born 5 April 1996) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada films in addition to Tamil and Hindi films. She has received a Filmfare Award South in addition to four SIIMA Awards. Kirik Party (2016), Anjani Putra (2017), Yajamana (2019), Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020), Bheeshma (2020), Pogaru (2021), Pushpa: The Rise (2021), Sita Ramam (2022), and Varisu (2023) are some of her most financially lucrative films. For her work in the Telugu romantic comedy Geetha Govindam (2018), she was honoured with the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – South.
Early and Personal Life
Rashmika Mandanna was born on 5 April 1996 in a Kodava family. the town of Virajpet in Karnataka‘s Kodagu district, home to Suman and Madan Mandanna. Coorg Public School in Kodagu is where she received her early education. At Bangalore’s M. S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce, she completed a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature. During the Kirik Party celebration filming, Rashmika and Rakshit Shetty started dating. On July 3, 2017, the pair got engaged at a private celebration in Virajpet, where Rashmika is from. In September 2018, the engaged couple amicably called off their wedding, claiming compatibility concerns.

Career
Rashmika made her acting debut in Kirik Party in 2016, and the movie went on to become one of the highest-grossing Kannada films of the year. Numerous reviews commended Rashmika’s performance. For the role, she received the SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actress. Rashmika had two Kannada cinema appearances in 2017: Anjani Putra and Chamak. For her work in the movie Chamak, she was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada at the 65th Filmfare Awards South.
She appeared in Geetha Govindam with Vijay Deverakonda in 2018. Rashmika played Mahesh Babu’s love interest in the Telugu movie Sarileru Neekevvaru in 2020, which went on to become one of the highest-grossing Telugu films. She had an appearance in the movie Bheeshma that same year. Her debut was in the movie Pogaru in 2021. later on in Pushpa: The Rise with Allu Arjun and Sulthan with Karthi. Rashmika played the lead role in Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu in 2022. Later, she made appearances in Goodbye and Sita Ramam. She co-starred with Vijay in Varisu, her second Tamil movie, in 2023. It was one of the highest-grossing Tamil movies.
Rashmika won the ‘Bangalore Times 30 Most Desirable Women of 2017’ and was ranked 24th in the ‘Bangalore Times 25 Most Desirable Women of 2016’. She reached the top of Forbes India‘s most influential actors on social media in October 2021. Rashmika has agreed to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the Hindi flick Animal.
