Rohini Sindhuri (Commissioner)
Rohini Sindhuri Dasari (born 30 May 1984) is an indian Govt bureaucrat and Commissioner. She is a 2009-class Karnataka cadre Indian administrative officer who is currently working as the department’s commissioner for Hindu religious institutions and charitable endowments. Throughout her career as an IAS officer, she worked in a variety of divisions. She worked as the district’s deputy commissioner in Mysore.

Rohhini sindhuri was born on 30 May 1984 in Rudraksha Pally, Sathupally Mandal, Khammam district, Andhra Pradesh, (present-day Telangana) India. Rohini mother’s Name Lakshmi Reddy. And Rohini did her studies from Rudraksha Pally. He did his B.A. Tech degree in chemical engineering. She has been accepted as a 2009 batch IAS officer. Sindhuri is married to Sudhir reddy, who is a software engineer from Andhra Pradesh. and they have a daughter and a boy. She speaks English, Telugu, Kannada, and other languages with ease.

As an employee of the government, Sindhuri was first assigned to the position of assistant commissioner in Tumakuru from August 29, 2011, until August 31, 2012. She served as commissioner of Tumakuru’s urban development department during the same time period and held the position until December 31, 2012. In her role as commissioner, she computerised tax collection at the source, was able to take possession of 42 acres of corporation land in the village of Ajjagondanahalli that had been pending since 2006, auctioned vacant shops owned by the corporation, raising $10 million for the corporation, and helped clear encroachments from Horpete Road, J.C. Road, and Kyathsandra Main Road. People in Tumkur remember her warmly for clearing encroachments from M.G.Road and finishing the district’s busiest road’s construction. She then served from 10 August 2013 to 31 May 2014 as the Director of Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department, Self Employment Programme, Bangalore. She then accepted a position as the Mandya Zilla Panchayat’s chief executive officer, a position she held for more than a year.
About seven months after being appointed as the district collector (DC) of Hassan, Sindhuri received a transfer in January 2018. The pressure from the local politician and former minister H. D. Revanna led to the transfer; as a result, she went to the High Court, which ordered to halt the transfer. She was reinstated as a Hassan DC by chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.
