Tejasswi Prakash
Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar (born 10 June 1993) is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi television and Marathi films. She made her acting debut in 2612 and later in Sanskaar Dharohar Apnon Ki (2013). Prakash is well known for her roles in Swaragini (2015-16) as Ragini Maheshwari and Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya (2017-18). She appeared in Colours TV’s daredevil show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 in 2020. In 2021, she competed in Colours TV’s reality show Bigg Boss 15 and won the competition. Prakash has been playing the dual parts of protagonist Pratha Gujral and her daughter Prarthna Gujral in Colours TV’s thriller franchise Naagin 6 since February 2022. Her Marathi film debut was Mann Kasturi Re (2022), for which she received a nomination for Best Actress Debut at the Filmfare Marathi Awards.
Early and Personal Life
Prakash was born on 10 June 1993 in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. She was born in a Marathi family. Her complete name is Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar. His father service in Jeddah as an engineer. After that, she came back to India with her mother and did her studies in Mumbai. She is a trained engineer. She received her bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University. Prakash is in a relationship with actor and host Karan Kundrra. They met after appearing on the reality show Bigg Boss 15 and began dating.

Career
Early work (2012–2018)
Prakash made her acting debut in Life OK‘s thriller 2612 as Rashmi Bhargava in 2012. She appeared as Dhara Vaishnav in Colors TV‘s soap opera Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki in 2013, opposite Jay Soni. From 2015 to 2016, she played Ragini Maheshwari in Colours TV’s hit drama romance Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, for which she received nominations for Indian Telly Awards and Golden Petal Awards. She appeared as Diya Singh in Sony TV’s mystery drama Pehredaar Piya Ki in 2017. Prakash was recast as Diya Singh in Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya after Pehredaar Piya Ki concluded. In 2018, she starred as Uruvi in Star Plus’ Mythological Drama Karn Sangini alongside Aashim Gulati.
Success and recent work (2019–present)
In 2019, Prakash appeared as Mishti Khanna in the second season of Voot’s love drama Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, opposite Kunal Jaisingh and Aneri Vajani. In 2020, she made her reality debut by competing in Colours TV’s iconic stunt-based show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. Despite being one of the strongest candidates, she had to leave the show midway due to a major eye injury, ending her adventure in sixth place. In 2021, she appeared on Colours TV’s reality show Bigg Boss 15, where she lasted for 17 weeks inside the house and won the show.
Soon after Bigg Boss 15 finished in February 2022, she was cast as Pratha Gujral, a shape-shifting serpent, in Ekta Kapoor’s popular supernatural serial Naagin 6. In the same season’s leap track, she played a mother-daughter duo, Pratha Gujral and Prarthna Gujral. Prakash made her Marathi debut alongside Abhiney Berde in the love drama Mann Kasturi Re, directed by Sanket Mane, in November 2022, earning her a nomination for Best Actress Debut at the Filmfare Marathi Awards 2022.
